Bicol region is a region that is composed of six provinces, Albay, Catanduanes, Sorsogon, Masbate, Camarines Norte, and Camarines Sur. It is located southeast of Luzon. Naga city is an independent component city found in Bicol Region and Legazpi is the region's political administration center.

He passed through the royal chamber's window, took the princess, and told the princess to elope with him. But Magayon, on the other hand, was buried alive in a massive landslide. Locals believed that Magayon's anger is the cause of Mount Mayon's explosion.

On the record, Paradise Philippines had its erupted more than 50 times in the previous 400 years. The volcano's first erupted in 1616. The latest lava discharge happened in June of 2001. The most devastating eruption happened in the first day of February, 1814, which killed 1,200 people and buried the town of Cagsawa, which is now named, Daraga. Fire fragmented flows killed 77 people in 1993, which is marked as Mayon's last eruption. Mayon volcano also erupted in 1984, but luckily for the villagers, there are no casualties recorded upon the eruption of the Volcano.

In 2006, Mayon Volcano became active again after 13 years of rest. July 18, 2006 showed any signs of Mayon Volcano's activity by having a number of rockfalls from the lava dome. Sulfur oxide has been increasingly emitted. In August 2006, 40,000 people have been evacuated from an 8-km danger zone. The volcano could have the possibility to explode, but by the gravitational pull from the full moon may counter the possibility. Mayon Volcano became swollen and numerous amount of volcanic earthquakes happened by that time. But it became worse when Super typhoon Reming came to the Philippines; it created massive mudslides of ashes from the volcano and rockfalls. It killed hundreds of residents and majorly devastated the Padang Village.

Mayon Volcano has been majorly seen in postcards, images, books, and even in the internet because of the beauty and semi-perfect shape. News about its activity are still unknown, but the possibility of the Mayon Volcano to explode may happen any time. Mayon Volcano is also the reason why Bicol region became very famous and it is marked as the best place in Bicol. It is classified as a stratovolcano because it is tall and has periodic eruptions. It is compared to the shape of Mount Fuji in Japan but Mayon Volcano is a little darker than the one in Japan.

Apparently, Mayon Volcano is one of the five major volcanoes in the Philippines, one is Taal Volcano in Cavite and Batangas, another one is Mount Pinatubo in Pampanga, then Mount Canlaon in Canlaon city, Negros, and Mount Ragang in Lanao Del Sur and Cotabato boundary.

Mayon Volcano is an active volcano, Southeastern Luzon, Philippines, dominating the city of Legaspi. Called the Worlds most perfect cone, it has a base 80 miles (130 km) in circumference and rises to 7,943 feet (2,421 m) from the shores of Albay Gulf.
